| Description : |
The Greyhound is very fexible with a deep chest. This breed is a dog built for speed. They have straight front legs and muscular, powerful hind legs. The head is long and the muzzle tapers to a stop. They have small ears which are folded back and dark eyes. The neck is elongated and elegant. The tail has a slight curve at the end but it is carried low. |

This breed is intelligent, alert, responsive and loyal. They are excellent with children but are not compatible with other animals especially non-canine because of their prey instinct. Greyhounds make great show dogs and racing dogs. |
