Non-Sporting Dogs
The non-sporting breed is a diverse group of dogs that are different in traits, size, skills, personality, and appearance from each other. They have been bred to do an array of jobs and range from short and sleek coats to curly coats. Non-sporting dogs do not fall under any other breed category and no real generalizations can be made about them. They are multi-functional dogs that may be charming, affectionate, playful, sociable, loving, intelligent, and enthusiastic. While some breeds make excellent watchdogs, there are others that are friendly lap dogs. There are some that are good for apartment life, and some others that prefer to be at homes with large outdoor areas for playful activities.
