The Tosa Inu or Toza-Ken is athletic and agile. The head is broad, the stop is sudden and the muzzle is square shaped. The ears are small, pendent and hanging. The almond-shaped eyes are dark. The tail tapers to a point.
The Spanish Mastiff has two varieties: Heavy Mastiff and Light Mastiff. They have a large head with a deep, strong muzzle. The eyes are small with a relaxed expression. They have a double dewclaw like the Great Pyrenees. They are retangular and well muscled.
The Shiloh Shepherd comes in two varieties: smooth and plush. They have a domed and broad head. The stop is gently defined and the muzzle tapers. The tail is long and thick.
